Blair-Mazzarella Funeral Home traces its history to Harry F. Blair, who opened the funeral home on Coney Island Avenue in 1904. The business continued through later generations of the Blair family and became Blair-Mazzarella Funeral Home in 1988 when ownership transferred to James Donofrio and Joseph Mazzarella.
James became sole owner in 2001. His long experience as a licensed funeral director shapes a practical, attentive approach: listen carefully, explain choices clearly, and help each family create arrangements consistent with its needs and traditions.
